The Conversion Rules

Converting Standard (AM/PM) to Military Time:

The conversion follows simple rules:

• For AM hours (1:00 AM to 11:59 AM): Simply remove the "AM" and add a leading zero if the hour is a single digit. For example, 9:30 AM becomes 0930. The only exception is 12:00 AM (midnight), which becomes 0000.
