How to Use the Radiation Converter

Practical Example: Health Physics

A nuclear plant worker receives an absorbed dose of 0.5 Gray from fast neutrons. To assess the biological risk, this must be converted to an equivalent dose in Sieverts. The Quality Factor for fast neutrons is 10.

  • Known Value: 0.5 Gray
